TO ALL CHRISTINE AND OLIVIA'S (AND MY) FRIENDS ON THS FIRST DAY OF SEPTEMBER: WHITE RABBITS WHITE RABBITS WHITE RABBITS Harold! Charming! You say: White Rabbits. White Rabbits. White Rabbits? I say: Rabbit. Rabbit. Gilda Radnar (God rest her soul) said: Bunny. Bunny. I thought it was only my family who said it until a Dean at my College, half way across the US, greeted me that way. The variation is interesting. The fact that so many people say it keeps surprising and delighting me. Rabbit Rabbit, Harold. . It is not nessarily variation - "white rabbits" is a greeting for the first day of the month but "rabbit, rabbit" is the same as the American "jaw, jaw" or the Irish "Blarney, Blarney." |

It is, to me at least, a happy surprise to see people spring back so quickly after such tragedy. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Pwobably munching her cawwots
----------------------------------------![]() A long as she is not a dust bunny: Dust bunnies are harmful to electronics, as they can seriously obstruct air flow through CPU heat sinks, severely raising temperatures and shortening the life of electronic components. Many thanks, Rene, Courine and again Christine and special thanks to JP for all his postings and telephone calls. I hope my colleagues will soon find a donor for your sister and that your other problems will resolve themselves.
