I can now manipulate mouse and keyboard while sitting on the edge of a chair, so now I can thank you all for your encouragement and good wishes. A special "thank you" to JP for his eMails and 'phone calls and to Diana for her grandparental hugs.

It has been a busy week since last Friday when we were invaded by two violent robbers, two local Police Officers (male and female), four Borough Police (uniformed or not and both sexes), plus various police technicians the same day and since. We have, then and since, had a number of District Nurses and two newshounds. The telephone has been busy with calls from well wishers and banks. The humanoid voices at one bank's call centre have kept us busy for hours and today my wife and alter ego have been to a local bank branch to finalise the arrangements for the financial recovery process. My wife's physical injuries are healing and I am learning to type and crunch while standing. Regards, Haldav/bundy/Doctor/soldier/Harold Davidson. What horror story is this? Hope you get well soon!
