It's not said smack in the face, but 'public' beta programs only run on BOINC, *not* UD agent. From the My Grid > Beta Testing sign up page:

How It Works
You can opt in any of your existing BOINC profiles to receive Beta Test work. When Beta Test work is available, you will receive that work before you receive work for any other project (i.e., Beta Test work will take first priority). If there is no Beta Test work currently available, you will receive work from the other projects in which you have chosen to participate.

Thanks a lot for all your replies ! So that explains why the BOINC client has been moved to the top at the download page. Do you guys mean that new projects will not be available for UD client? And the UD client will be phased out?

As it's understood presently, only the FA@H update will get launched on UD client too, but that's it. Curtains.... But, no big rush as they are planned to run thru end of HPF2 and FA@H (phase 3) anticipated late 2008 in kind of an orphan mode. Soon the download option for the UD agent will disappear (who knows will a black market start on P2P ;>) anyway, keep your copy if insisting thru the end to stay with this non-maintained client.

Now on BOINC and FA@H you can already move the main graphic image around (not on UD client). With Dengue next, you can also zoom in and out.... and BOINC uses less memory and and and.
