Hi.
Nelsoc has kindly posted about updates to "Team Categories". and I for one thank him for it! It states that team captains can now specify a Country, and an Organisation- Great if all the team are from one country, and belong to an Organisation! My team, are an International Team of Friends (New and Old) Could the Drop Down Country List contain the word "Worldwide"? and Perhaps "Friends" under organisation? (The latter is tongue in cheek! )Thanks for everything! Take care Ted |

I've already raised this with them. Apparently, it's a BOINC issue.
I also asked that "unknown" (actually, a blank field) be shown everywhere on the site as "International". As for the limited options for team types - I think we need to ask the BOINC developers to implement that, then we will have to poke WCG to pick up on the change. Isn't life complicated? ;-) |

Yes, it would be nice to have a United Nations country type, as few teams have all their membership in one place. For now it needs to be by default to fill in the gap, but why wasnt this obviouse?

ah if we could look in the minds of others :D
----------------------------------------Actually blank by default would translate to International at the BOINC statistics websites. It's those 166,907 members you see hovering over the Indian ocean on the WCG Statistics globe.
