Storage Performance?

I'm runnning this on 2 machines, both have 40 GB drives that are mostly empty, yet my storage performance is 20/100, says .98 GB. Anyone know why?

/Just curious.

Re: Storage Performance?

smile Hi djcassee
You need to go here and change you device profile
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/viewProfiles.do

Click on Create A New Device Profile and change Hard Drive Space To Allocate to 10 Gig
This will improve you overall score and also generate more points for you as well

Regards

cool Re: Storage Performance?

Actually, there are 2 steps. First you create a named profile. You will always have Default available with its 0.98 GB storage. Secondly, you have to go to each device and assign that named profile to each device. Then wait. When your device finishes its current work unit and downloads a new work unit, it will also download the new profile. Things are done this way so that your profiles are password protected. This prevents some practical jokes.
