sad Frustrated

I have also had agent paused and have tried to uninstall and reinstall multiple times. Now when I reinstall I can register and when I click the icon it tells me there is already another instance of the grid agent running. I just bought this laptop last week and have Windows Vista Home Premium as my operating system. I have this program running alright on some other computers with Windows XP. Any help would be appreciated.

The agent runs in the notification area, on the taskbar. Double click on the green grid icon to open the agent. If you try to start the agent from the start menu, then you will get the error you describe, because it is already running.

You may also experience this error if you are using Fast User Switching (more than one user logged on at once).

The UD server had to be restarted, as discussed in http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=15162

It should be working now.
