I requested other WU's to process because the FAAH queue seemed empty...
(that is - my box stopped processing). Are these specific work units hard to come by? Thanks in advance! ![]() |

There is work for FA@H thru the end of 2008 as is foreseeable and am getting them even today, so do not see an immediate reason.
----------------------------------------Your last job showed to have been completed 11 hours ago, so the interruption must have been just this morning or? What agent and operating system are you running? What message(s) did you get when it stopped? Did you make any changes to your device profile prior to FA@H stopped being send to your agent? Have you now deselected FA@H or did you add another project in your profile?

Hi Gormzilla,
As I understand it, we are running 2 schedulers and we have a load balancer that assigns requests to one scheduler or the other. Sometimes one scheduler goes down and the load balancer keeps assigning requests to it. Then some people don't get work while others do. Another problem occurs when the queue of ready work units for a project runs out. Yet another possibility is that the weekend, with its low workload, is a favorite time for the staff (meaning knreed) to fiddle with the servers. I suspect that whatever you have run into will be quickly resolved. Lawrence |

I asked a number of questions to discover basic relevant information. Without that, it is very difficult. Not even the Agent we know at this time, so we can only speculate about the possibilities which is not very constructive.
----------------------------------------Plz provide and we'll proceed from there.

There's a secret, since you revealed in the HPF2 thread that you have BOINC running (in the background :>) FA@H was running on BOINC until recently in 128mb RAM long as enough Virtual Memory / Swap File was available. UD wont simply not get it in accordance with the System Requirement minima.
----------------------------------------Give it as try as GC is running out as we type-oh. cheers.
