Now I am prepared to be seen as a devil whilst I seek to stop this type of thing....
Khomeini's Teachings on sex with infants and animals Islamic Teachings on sex with infants: "A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate. If he penetrates and the child is harmed then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however would not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girl's sister." http://www.homa.org/default.asp?TOCID=2083225445 Yes I know Iran does not represent ALL Muslims but they are a very large part of the Muslim religion and it`s spread. I do not say Chip partakes of this viewpoint but there are other views he has expressed through his learning link such as.... Quran-2:256: There is no Compulsion in religion…. Quran-47:4: When you meet the unbelievers in the Jihad strike off their heads…. Quran-9:29: Fight those who do not profess the true faith(Islam) till they pay the polltax (jiziya) with the hand of humility. Allah forbids His believing servants from having Jews and Christians as friends, because they are the enemies of Islam and its people, may Allah curse them. Allah then states that they are friends of each other and He gives a warning threat to those who do this, These quotes are from his link he posted that he says has the best understanding of the quran. The case can be made that from that there is hatred and intolerance of other religions and peoples, this is against forum rules. |

Am I not allowed to question this ? As both Didactylos and Nesloc said, religious discussions are perfectly acceptable in the chat room. Repeatedly hijacking someone's team thread is against forum rules. |

I didn`t hijack his thread, I did as he did posted quotes from the Quran !
----------------------------------------Look and see ! His latest Team thread contained a disclaimer saying if it broke the rules don`t look.....I politely asked him to remove the disclaimer which seemed unfair and wrong. From there I appear to have been attacked by people trying to start a flamewar. Chip posted.... If you find the view of 1,200,000,000 Muslims to be against the WCG Forum Rules, then please stop reading this thread So if I posted a disclaimer that read "If you find Carl`s post are against WCG rules don`t read them" ! That would make all my posts admissable ? Don`t be daft ! [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 30, 2007 6:48:57 PM] |

I think we all know who is daft or is it draft as with to many openings in in the frontal lobes--why dont you just let the man post what he wants in his team thread and i did not see as nelsoc stated where chip broke any rules--sometimes when someone wont stand up for themselves maybe somebody should |

and i did not see as nelsoc stated where chip broke any rules What Nelsoc actually wrote : As I stated before, discussion of religion can take place in the forum. Transgressions to the forum rules have been made by both sides of this smoldering flame war. I am locking this thread and ask that if claychipsmith wishes to start a new one, he refrain from posting anything that could be interpreted as going against the forum rules. Also, if you find something offensive in the forums, or something that violates the forum rules, please use the Report Forum Post link rather than hijacking a thread or posting something that others might find offensive. Those support emails go to me, but I haven't seen any in quite a while. My bold in Nelsocs quote BTW. |

"People in the computer industry use the term 'user', which to them means 'idiot'." I believe the technical term is EBKAC... (Error Between Keyboard and Chair) I have used that term while on the phone with factory techs while onsite 'fixing' computers under the on-site warranty. In my experience, Hardware failure=35% EBKAC=65% of all onsite service calls In many cases, the principle is the same in the forums. Some people just don't think things through completely before they post. Everything is perspective. Life is like a tree full of monkeys. If you're the top monkey and look down, you see all smiling faces. If you're the bottom monkey & look up, all you see is rectums... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Extreme verses from the Quran can be taken and twisted to encourage this kind of thing BTW.

The car was filled with pressurised gas containers and one of the terrorists had a suicide bomb strapped around his waist BTW.

Whl: Verses taken out of context from the Bible were mixed with greed and bigotry to justify the crusades. Please don't condemn all because of a radical few.
----------------------------------------As for eating and socializing with people of other faiths, I work with people who follow a number of beliefs including Islam, Christianity, Tao, different Hindi sects, and one of the Buddest sects whose name slips my mind. We have attended multiple social events together and have had civil discussions about the differences between our beliefs and why there is turmoil within a given belief (such as the fighting between the Muslim Sunni and Shiite and the Protestant and Catholic groups). I would love to have a civil discussion with you concerning my relationship with God, but I don't think this thread is the correct place for it. I have not visited the old Islam team forum, and only briefly stopped in the new forum after seeing this thread and the name of the last person who had posted at the time, but I am saddened by the attacks on this team. My opinion is that the team forum should be a largely private area for the team to provide information to other team members. Just for clarification, there are a number of team forums I have not visited because they have no active interest to me. I treat a given teams forum much as I would a place of worship or club house. One does not run into a soccer team's locker room and slander the team or cheer for another team (at least not twice). While I understand the current forum software does not permit it, it would be nice if each team had two threads, one for only team members, and one for public discussion about the team. I realize this approach can be complicated by people joining the team so they can attack it, although this type of attack should be limited if the team captain can control access to the private thread. We are all donating our time and machines in an effort to improve our quality of life. After all, 10 out of 10 people have a terminal condition which will end in death. It's just a matter of how long and how much pain is involved. The last time I checked, we all bleed red (OK, my son bleeds blue when his oxygen levels are low). What I am trying to say is that while we all have different backgrounds and beliefs, we need to agree to disagree, get over our differences, and work as a true team so we can achieve our one goal. As others have already said: Go team WCG |
