And, on its best day, the share of WCG in the total credits of DPC has reached about 73.5 % (according to BoincStats), which is exceptional for one of the largest multi-projects team.
----------------------------------------Congrats to the WCG lobbyist(s) of the team. Jean. ![]() |

I have noticed later only: probably the problems on SETI helped much to reach this tremendous percentage!
---------------------------------------- And today with the SETI backlog being returned all at once it was only a 40.5 % day. We'll see tomorrow if DPC is back to its usual 65-70 % WCG share or more. Cheers. Jean. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by JmBoullier at Apr 23, 2009 1:24:48 AM] |

Jean, it's a slip of some synapses. Many came across from projects that don't use BOINC, for instance that gentlemen with that farm. At a glance the overall Team BOINC production went up too when the stampede started, thus the % is distorted, but it's nice anyhow to see 80+ percent of overall DPC-BOINC to land here.
----------------------------------------mooh added: and no, SETI is just a coincidence ;>)

It was not my point, I was not saying that DPC members moved in or out of WCG depending on SETI being working or not (and I really don't think they do). It was just a pure arithmetic statement: when there are no SETI credits on one day the percentage of WCG is automatically bigger than on a normal day with SETI working. On the opposite when SETI comes back and the SETI crunchers of the team return several days of results at once the percentage of WCG is consequently much lower.
----------------------------------------Over the whole week WCG in DPC is about 67 % as usual since the stampede has got its cruising speed. And your target of DPC being 5th in daily numbers is reached most of the time. Well done! Jean. |

I think it's kind of your Deux CV in one direction and my Alfa Romeo in the opposite direction kind of conversation. It's not at all what I was talking about either.
