BOINC User ID 225561

I'm getting occasional Invalid results on these beta WUs, from systems that never normally get Invalids or Errors. I'm also seeing a lot of Inconclusives (naturally), with some ending up Valid and others Invalid. Even my Valid results show more than the normal amount of Invalid results among the other quorum members. Looks like the app's having trouble generating consistent answers (or trouble validating).

Interestingly, the 2 systems that are getting beta WUs cover a wide swath of typical system types; one's an overclocked C2D running XP, the other a stock speed AMD X2 running Vista. So it's not just a simple processor family rounding error difference or some such.

Host 214483 also had one result that was just plain weird. My result ended up marked Too Late, even though it was returned less than 5 hours from the time the WU was sent. The other quorum members also had various problems; 3 other Too Lates, 2 Errors, 3 No Replys (which might still come back, I suppose), and 2 Others, whatever that means. Might be worth a look.
