Case sensitivity of member ID

Hi all,

a few days ago I had problems with adding watches on threads. I also had the problem that I had to login again and again when opened the client and wanted to view my scores.

With the aid of support people I discovered that I registered myself with a name with upper and lower case characters, but that I used an all lower case ID to login. This caused some inconsistent behavior in the system.

So, be aware if you use an ID with a mixture of upper and lower case characters!

Support people told me that they are working on this.

Regards, HendrikJo

Re: Case sensitivity of member ID

smile Hi HendrikJo
It should also be noted that you will get an inconsistant post count next to your name on th left hand side of your post, if you type your name in incorectly, when posting messages
Example [Graham] 264 Posts
Example [graham] 76 posts
Your status in the forums change with your posting activity
1 to 19 posts = Stranger, 20 to 49 Posts = Newbie, 50 to 99 = Member, 100+ = Advanced Member
Type your case sensative name in correctly and get credit for all your posts, to enable you to increase your status in the forums

Regards

Re: Case sensitivity of member ID

Thanks for the explanation Graham.
I'm not realy a "status hunter" smile (or however you say this in english), but at least now I understand why I am a stranger until now.
