You should release a unix or a linux version. Doesn't even need to be graphical! This is a background app anyway, so pure text is fine. I'd just have it crontabbed and leave it and forget about it anyway..
I only have 1 windows systems, but many more linux / unix systems, so this would be great for me.. and many other people I'm certain. Not to mention, many Unix systems are running more than 1 CPU, so SMP support would be slick as well. ![]() |

As you will see from http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=1125, the WCG team has committed to producing what you are asking for. |

I have a dual Athlon MP 2400+ just waiting to run a Linux client of this. |

In the meantime you could join another project such as
the Stanford Folding@home at http://folding.stanford.edu/. It has a Linux console version. We don't want that processor power going to waste. :-) Colin |
