Team Question

Hello,

Does it matter at all what team you sign up for? I see a lot of different teams trying to get my to join them...is there some sort of tangible benefit a team gets, or is it just for stats?

Thanks

adam

Re: Team Question

smile Hi lenmccart

It does not matter at all what team you join, as you correctly stated, its just for the stats, and to create a bit of competition between the teams
You should read through the Team threads and decide which one you would probably feel the most comfortable with
Bear in mind, your decision is not set in stone, as you can change teams at will, if you feel you dont fit in with the team you choose
Bye the way one of the benefits of joining a team is having some team mates to interact with

Happy team hunting

Best Regards

Marysduby, I VERY sorry about your wife and wish her a very fast and full recovery.

My comment was meant as a joke/lighter moment and apologise if you misunderstood the intention. It was never meant as a slight against you.

This is one of the problems that occurs with non face-to-face interaction over forums/email - you cannot see the body langauage to know when some one is joking.

Once again, I apologise for any misconception.

Re: Team Question

marysduby;
I too am sorry to hear your wife was in the hosiptal but I have confidance that she will make a full recovery with your support and by you being by her side. smile
I sain't aplogize for scalping or attempting to scalp a possible beer drinker to my team - every team for themselves but I shall drink one for both you and your wife's good health. smile
I just now realized Graham has an unfair advantage!! As a community admin he could get first dibs on his pick of team mates before we even know they signed on - How say you Sir Graham, am I wrong that you are a knight of honor? You would not bend to such a motion?! biggrin

I think that you are wrong biggrin biggrin biggrin

The only way that Graham has an advantage over anyone is:

1) He is active in the forums so people get to see his posts and therefore his signature more often. This may mean that they will look at the MOT team page/home page and decide to join.

2) Being active also means that he can see any questions/problems and respond to them. Human pyschology means that peole will lean towards those that help.

3) MOT is a great bunch of people who help other team members and others out as much as they can.
