Pepe88, this is not the subject. There is a pro/con thread started by 'debsgr8' discussing reasons why NOT to use BOINC and a table.

I am getting GC BOINC workunits. I took BOINC down to run a test.
----------------------------------------I brought up UD. It downloaded a FAAH. That's what I am trying to tell y'all. Your UD project list could be different and is in the profile(s) of the device manager. Check the default plus any custom profiles you have set up. My UD projects were set to FAAH even though BOINC is set to GC. I changed my UD projects to GC. I then exited UD. I erased the science application by erasing UD_*.*. I brought up UD again and IT DOWNLOADED A GC. The program + data was 1,452,640 bytes. I then took down UD and went back to BOINC. Just the data on a subsequent download should be a lot smaller, on the order of 600,000 bytes.
