There are suggestions about a similar error here:

A new version of AutoDock is being released very soon. If your problem is FAAH specific, I think you should stop working on that project until the upgrade.
If you sign up for beta testing, then you may even be able to improve the new version by returning a few "error" results. (Note that there is a subtle difference between "error" and "invalid". Errors are returned as failed by the client, invalids are marked by the server after you thought you sent back a valid result.) |

Could the workunits be corrupt? I thought the new BOINC install would have fixed it. I just overlaid my own 5.8.16 on top of 5.4.11 and had no problems.

Well spotted.
But no, that's Erwin. He's a character in UserFriendly. He's an AI, written in a single night by Dust Puppy. He is currently residing in an SGI O2. Ironically, WCG won't actually run on Solaris - but I'm sure Erwin can emulate Linux and run BOINC anyway. |

i didn't understand the png gif thing , as the link is broken.
to fix my problem i tried installing the new version of boinc. but it failed ,i had the same invalid results. my computer runs boinc since 12 monthes. i changed lately the cpu usage of projects to 80% , so i will go to 100% and see if that could help me. |

i didn't understand the png gif thing , as the link is broken. It looks like a good link PLUS half of something else stuck on the back that makes it bad and broken.to fix my problem i tried installing the new version of boinc. but it failed ,i had the same invalid results. my computer runs boinc since 12 monthes. i changed lately the cpu usage of projects to 80% , so i will go to 100% and see if that could help me. Maybe. The BOINC throttle is not too smooth, but runs a mixture of 0% and 100% to AVERAGE 80%. It is only a problem if a laptop and gets too hot. My desktops run all day/night at 100%. The error was already there in 5.4.11. WHEN DID THE ORIGINAL ERROR START? I was assuming that you exited BOINC and STOPPED the execution before loading the new 5.8.16 BOINC on top of it. Installing BOINC 5.4 when the workunit is running can cause other problems. The newer 5.8 version is supposed to stop any execution, so that might not be as much of a concern.
