Is this right?

I read anything on CPU time and progress, so I will not ask 'bout this.
The real "problem" is that the agent is working and it takes only 2-5% of CPU!
Is this right? It is not running in screensaver-only-mode.
For the first work unit it tooks 10 hours and with this one, it's taking 40 hours at 60%.
My spec:
AMD 3000+ @2200 MHz
1 Gb RAM DDR
over 100 Gb of free space on hard disk
Windows XP SP1
1 Gb of total swap file
DSL

WCGrid_rosetta is taking 2-5% of CPU and 200Mb of memory.
(I also tryed to set the process priority to High, same result)

confused Re: Is this right?

I have just right-clicked on the bottom bar and selected Task Manager on my computer. It came up on the Processes tab and showed WCGrid_Rosetta.exe running with 17,820K memory usage and with CPU utilization varying from 80-99 but usually over 95. Switching to the Performance tab it shows 100% CPU Usage.

So what figures do you get from Task Manager? Is your CPU Usage only 2-5% or is it more? If more, what is running in place of WCGrid_Rosetta?

Well...

.

Oh, I've just figured out...
I use CPUIdle, a program that work on idle cpu resource and send Halt instruction to the CPU, lowering it's temp.
Killed that process, now, ROsetta boosted up to 90% of CPU...

cool Re: Is this right?

Something is wrong. Your Task Manager shows cpuidle to be 81%. This is the process that WCGrid_Rosetta is supposed to run in place of. Either something went wrong with the installation or something is interfering with WCGrid_Rosetta. Do you have a utility running that limits the amount of CPU time a process can run?

Added: OK, that explains it. Happy Crunching.
