Odd that nobody has yet to mention this. The Free-DC stats is current "off kilter". Whatever that means ...
---------------------------------------- When you check "Global Stats", the Teams and Individuals are listed *without* a number ranking like it was at UD.org. You actually have to do a "cut and paste" of the Top 250 and then try to find where your Team or Team Mates rank. Unacceptable. Perhaps it is a problem with this version of the mvnForum 1.0.0 RC3 (Build: 29 June 2004). I really don't know. You don't have to be a Human Factors/Usability Software engineer to figure some of these things out. I know, because I have placed many of them at many Software Development companies as an IT recruiter. Ehhh, a small detail lacking (perhaps). Anyways, keep on crunching!  |

It's in transition between days at the moment, awaiting the new results.

I'm not sure either. My rank is #3 in the team and #99 in the project. That sounds normal to me.

As a former ACTUAL I.T. programmer, I knew somebody would probably ask, so I saved a copy. That number is from Saturday Saturday, June 2, 2007 Statistics Date/Total Run Time/Points/Results ____________(y:d:h:m:s)_Generated_Returned 06/02/2007 0:092:21:09:17 104,106 494 Stats free-dc hasn't collected statistics from Sunday. That's probably what JC's "out of kilter" message meant. When stats free-dc becomes current again, it will probably combine a couple of days results. I have seen stats free-dc do that before also. Actual I.T. programmers need to know things like that. It still sounds like a problem of stats free-dc not collecting the data, not wcg not having it available.

Have you got a link to that JC - can't seem to find what you mean The Free-DC Stats is currently hosed. The stats from WCG does not list Teams or Team Mates with actual numbers. It's just a list. Meaning, that if you look at the Top 100 Teams in either category, you just see a list without the numbered "Rank". Like it was at UD.org. Like ... Team So-and-so, ranked at #50 (or whatever). It's just a list! Kinda surprised that nobody has seen this discrepancy. |

Inglese not my native tongue, "out of kilt-er" may mean that a Scotsman finally took his kilt off to put in the laundry and the cold showing off the real truth of the matter. Trouble is, if washed too hot, the kilt might too show signs of shrinkage :P

Trouble is, if washed too hot, the kilt might too show signs of shrinkage :P I couldn't see that Scotsman paying for enough energy to make all of that hot water. He'd probably wash everything in cold --- if he washed at all. All Scots in the area would probably do a load of laundry at the same time, and share the cost of the load.It gets worse. A shortage of ceremonial kilts could leave thousands of soldiers without a stitch of plaid to wear as they parade to the skirl of the bagpipes. Military officials said Monday that more than 5,000 Scottish soldiers are having to share their kilts because defense chiefs have not finalized a contract to buy enough of the garments to go around. The men, who face regular tours of duty in south Iraq and Afghanistan, have just 320 kilts, or one for every 15 soldiers.

Sorry JC - I'm probably being really thick here (no surprise!!) - but if I go to the team list for regular WCG stats here for instance: http://stats.free-dc.org/new/allteams.php?proj=wcg - I see Andrax ranked at #13, likewise WCG Boinc stats here at #23: http://stats.free-dc.org/new/allteams.php?proj=wcg - is that not what you mean  If your talking about a different page, can you link to it to help me out  Edit: Just thought - your talking about the Stats pages available here at the WCG site , NOT over at Free-DC aren't you  Yep, your right about that JC, I had noticed it and its a pain not having them numbered, you have to keep manually counting down the list - just never thought about posting a suggestion to try to get it done as it would be a big help as like others I tend to use other sites - but when they are borked for overall WCG stats , like Free DC at the moment, you have to rely on those here. No you don't with a little spreadsheet import routine and some formula of string conversion & h/v lookup.... it's just that I cant remember the grorg layout and my photographic memory not being as photographic anymore. The 350gb HD having all my pictures has been dead for a while ;>)
----------------------------------------JC, would you mind posting sample matrix of a piece of the present screen and add in bold the item(s) you'd want to see.... the Team position number is obvious but the team-member list might be wantin' a bit extra e.g.: Member-Name, Overall / Day , Team Overall, WCG Rank K.I.S.S it as the more complicated and more features, the longer and less likely will the change be promoted to a future web-site revision to-do list. cheers PS, 'our' team has like 3 home-brewed WCG points based stats, so if out, we jump to back ups :O
