Dell sent me a new BIOS for my M1710 Vista Business laptop.
----------------------------------------The BIOS file is A06MXG61. After this install, on this machine, WCG will not run in either my DSL location or my cable location. I mean, I needed to re-configure the connection for DSL at work and cable at home in order to get WCG to run. Even that should not be necessary. But, now, it will not run at all. WCG keeps giving me a message that I seem to not be connected to the internet, when, of course, everything else, browers, email, are all doing fine. >>RSM |

hey rich,
----------------------------------------this is the 3rd post you make reporting on problems with running on Vista and the previous 2 we linked you thru to a Vista knowledge collection post and never saw a confirmation you got it to work or not. So, no wishy washy oh it is not working stuff: Give us the exact messages and if it's BOINC, copy / paste the log entries from the message tab into a post so we can develop a more informed recommendation. cheers
