Hi all,
I did the workunitId=6074122 which is lc226_00035 of HPF2 mine was lc226_00035_15 . Now clicking on pending validation I see the following error text :- Result Log Now if I'm right, it seems like there is some error while reporting. Am I right or what? |

No, you have an security permission problem on your computer. BOINC.exe continuously talks to the wcgXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX science and BOINCmgr.exe taking pulse on progress, by at least 1 time per second. After 31 seconds of 'no heartbeat' being sensed, the process is considered to have died and taken that stairway to heaven. By what the error log indicates, the job probably restarted from the last checkpoint each time this situation occurred. Interested to learn if it validated properly.
----------------------------------------Check your Firewall & AV and possible Antispam to ensure, that the 3 parts you see in the Taskmanager or whatever it's called in the OS u use have authority to communicate over localhost 127.0.0.1 via port 31416 for RPC communication.

It did get validated properly. I'm on linux and as present aren't using any firewall, AV and/or anti-spam. |
