... Bibb and colleagues used genetic engineering techniques to breed mice that could be manipulated to switch off Cdk5..
Bibb said the mice were better at tasks based on associated learning, Bibb said. "It's the most important kind of learning in the animal kingdom. It's how we know where our car is and that is our wife or our husband and that's our kids. It's how we connect things," he added... http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070527/hl_nm/bra...L5IFm4YmPsOZW3wbtDarVJRIF |

I don''t think my mouse is well bred - it can't even do simple tasks!

reading last week that there's now also a vertical mouse.... on it's hind legs so to speak. This trick is thought to be less stressful on the hand/wrist/forearm angle. From own experience, it's not good for the shoulder.... since I use a roller ball mouse, which caused my thumb to go sore, so now I use a keyboard mostly with integrated mouse-pad (hand carried from the USoA). Now the fingerprints are worn.... so now I'm searching for the visually controlled version. Can't use that when running the laptop on the terrace.... my eyes would be wondering all the time to other vistas.
