As predicted our second millennium was completed in just 21 days (The first took 30 days) so we are accelerating nicely. Back to the time of Jesus in only 51 days!!
----------------------------------------2,032 Years 289 days of number crunching completed. Yesterday we completed our longest ever run time of 64 years 147 days, that's the equivalent of 23507 Athlon XP 2700+ powered PC's on all day yesterday crunching through the data for World Community Grid. As predicted our second millennium was completed in just 21 days It also looks like the next statistic update will reflect that WCG has completed over one MILLION results! Hopefully, with all of the calculations done, among the multitude of unsuccessful protein folds, there was a highly successful sequence calculated which will lead to a research breakthrough for a new medical treatment. It is nice to see the progress milestones, and thank you Dave for bringing the achievements of our collective efforts to the attention of the forum |
