Re: WU's not getting sent in

It would be great if we could narrow down the issue. Hold on, and I'll have a go myself....

edit: I just got HPF2 work, so that's not the problem. I also successfully reported work (not HPF2).

If on a single project and that one runs temporarily dry in supply it will pause! The test in that case would be to temporarily do an all project selection and see if it starts moving again after double clicking the system tray icon.

Since 2 of your machines did get an HPF2, it does seem to have been temporary.

And NO, HPF2 will be running thru Dec.08 so is the projection.... progress estimate in graph link below.

Re: WU's not getting sent in

Evening all,

Some UD agents may have shown a paused statement earlier due to the UD servers having extra load on them. We have disabled all non critical scripts at the moment to lighten the load on the servers. Also, we did not believe this was going to effect member clients. Please be patient with your agent if it shows a paused message because it will automatically contact the servers again to see if they can handle the requests. The load at the moment on the servers are back to normal range. If we expect to have an outage on the servers I will post something in the forums about it.

Thank you again to everyone participating in World Community Grid and your patience as we get things resolved.

Yes, I was able to send in earlier that day. I opened up to all projects and it took off. Thanks.

Re: WU's not getting sent in

Well, I'm new to using this program and was wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I have been running it since I got it installed and I'm showing 2 days 9 hours of runtime now but the website shows nothing sent in or points. The program itself shows that I have 1351.

I was just wondering if it is not updating to the site or what. I'm set up to run all projects and have seen it complete at least 4. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: WU's not getting sent in

Hello Danielbh67,
I assume that you are running the UD client. It does not add points to your total until the server acknowledges receipt, so the server is showing your points somewhere on the website. Normally, problems like this occur when people mistakenly install to a different member name than they think that they are using. The UD client has a pane that shows the member name it is registered to and the computer id number that can be used to identify your computer in a 'Contact Us' email to the staff. Sign in pasting a copy of your member name from the UD client. My Grid should show all your points.
