Probably far out from what's been covered in this previous "what are you listening to?"thread, revisited today The Yellow Shark by Frank Zappa and perfprmed by the Ensemble Modern. then went on to hunt for a recording of the concert we saw on January 6, 2006, 6 months before the official world premiere in Vienna, by Chick Corea, his Quartet and the world renowned Amsterdam Sinfonietta , a 22 piece string ensemble, the work called The Continents on July-1-2006 and hit gold dust: http://chickcorea.com/wp/2010/02/piano-concerto-2-the-continents/.
