Well, 2 of the above WU's I posted have validated properly, one still remains but 3 more have appeared inconclusive! It's not my machines coming up as invalid so there's not much I can do but sit and watch. Atleast it doesn't appear to be a problem coming from WCG's end.

Now had one myself that was declared valid after the first 15 were inconclusive and the 16th tilting the balance to make 1 go invalid. From previous posts in this thread there are more of these events lately. Maybe the quality check was tightened - not heard - but if Dr. Bonneau was getting sets with too wide variances, that could have been a cause of action. The device that a member sees producing multiple 'invalid' needs to have a review. Long as sets are validated in the end, see no reason to call the crew in.
----------------------------------------On a side note, never seen it before, but think it was olympic reporting the trick of project suspend and re-start to get a stuck % moving. Just had one going for 9:30 hours @ 7 percent, where normally the run rate on that box is 7 hours to finish. Checked the Quorum detail, saw all were on average 7-9 hours and followed the tip... worked like a charm.... resumed at 0:35 and 6.4% andd quickly progressed to 12% (lost 9 hours of night crunching )TTYL

I'm glad it worked for you! I seem to get a "stuck" HPF2 every 1-2 days and suspending and resuming the project has always worked. But like you found out, it's almost imnpossible to catch it before many hours of crunching have been lost.

Olympic, The unit validated immediately, but it remains frustrating the have a WU stuck in a loop ad-infinitum..... think it's 7 CPU days time out. @Baron Samedi, The server gauges a client to receive work when errors are reported on a perpetual basis.... The max would be to receive 2 a day, but on regular invalid I'm not informed enough. Getting only 50% credit will be an incentive for the owner to do some hardware/software reviewing and testing..... if an attended machine. Waiting on someone to past his 19 inconclusive set from the WU detail, so the techs can have a look tomorrow.

Thanks Sekerob, I did not know that. And you're right, the owner of that machine should notice it.

knreed advised, that the validation routine was set to need 15 valid, else turn inconclusive and wait until the next completed WU returned and try again. He's going to modify so the 1st 15 verification changes those good into 'valid' state and declare the 'invalid' immediately, if any. The sets require 19 valid, so the extra copies will continue to be send for each 'invalid' or 'error' generated.
----------------------------------------He did not say, but the ones that have 15 inconclusive presently will probably have to wait until 15 valid have accumulated before the points award. The one I have waiting with 15 inconclusive since Sunday has not had additional copies returned. ttyl Sekerob
