Re: The Formula One Thread

Couple of things "strike me" smile
If the pit lane is open the exit should also be open Unless there is a real hazard
The stream of cars passing at low speed behind safety car
should have been harder to hit than two stationary cars
Also the exit from the pits feeds in to the track via a white line
they manage it at race speeds
I assume under safety car conditions they would have had to pick up the back of the pack.I dare say there is a protocol for this .
LH picks up a ten grid slot penalty
As does Nico Rosberg

Re: The Formula One Thread

Well it's always interesting when one of the top drivers has to start down the grid.

Past experience shows that we see more overtaking and a bit of excitement - Remember Kimi last year.

Re: The Formula One Thread

Well its the French Gp
this weekend

the drivers are revolting,
Threats of strike at the Brit GP
they think its costing to much for them to race
race Licence could cost top drivers 170.000quid
aw shame
some of the drivers only scrape by on 2 or 3 Million £

One would think they had to pay for their own fuel
and in England I could understand that

Re: The Formula One Thread

Good quali for the red cars, go Kimi! biggrin
Massa was overdriving the car in the last lap.
A bit dissapointing from especially BMW, quick Nick ain't quick, and Mclaren.
Since LH will drop ten places on the grid he will have to ride one heck of a race if he wants to win like he said.
It will almost be impossible but points shouldn't be a problem.
Looking forward. cool

Re: The Formula One Thread

I don't think there's much doubt about the colour of tomorrow's winner but I am impressed with the improvement of Alonso. He could certainly be in the mix for the rest of the season.

See the other Maclaren has got 5 grid slot penalty for
getting in Webbers way .
You cant blame Robert Kubica for his poor showing
He had been up all night doing a plumbing job Just like
. Alf Tupper "Tough Of the Track " used to do

How is that? Was your boiler broken or something? biggrin
Yes Alonso indeed impressive, I hope he has enough fuel with him.
