Re: Formula One 2007 Season

Ecclestone has long lost the 'real' mission of it being for the car makers to advertise their product.... Ferrari, Renault, Mercedes, Honda etc. *Now they wont* is in effect the message of the article.

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

yep. No Indy GPF1 race next year..... maybe no North American appearance apart from Canada cant belive that could happen
there must be a suitable track But guess its down to $$$$ being available.
***********
Politics and industrial spying Red Cars V Silver Cars.
a good chance of Maclaren being chucked out .
its not about cars and drivers anymore £$€ rule
I know that the ethic of F1 should be cutting edge improvements
perfection of Engine Chassis combination.I would love to see the control put back in the drivers hands No Doubt about it these are skilled men and have driven through lesser Formula to get there I just feel
the sport is turning into rocket science.
***********************
I would like to see less people round the car in pit stops 18/20 is just daft and does cost money.Other formula have different combinations of Rules to name just a few not suggesting F1 adopts any or all of these
Just some consideration of pros and cons.

One man per wheel.
No tyre warmers .
Fuel quantity limit .
No traction control.
points for fastest lap
Points for most laps in lead

I'm not wishing to go back to making the driver carry a mechanic
to change the wheels. smile
but things could be better

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

Yes pretty good to watch but the best part of the actual racing was watching Massa. He really had to race and OVERTAKE, and even he got bogged down once in the group of competitive cars.
Noooo...!!! Did someone in Formula 1 OVERTAKE another car? confused

Wow !!! Is that still allowed?? It can't any crazier than that! Overtaking formula 1 cars... What will they think of next?

... real racing???

Duhhh.... yeah right! laughing laughing laughing

On a serious note: Massa was great... but most Formula 1 races are duller than a day at work!

Except when Christian Albers snorts one white line too many and takes the fueling hose home!! Bye Christian, see ya at the carting track...!
