Re: Formula One 2007 Season

You forgot to mention "again"
Second time Audi pulls this off.
True But of interest to me this time as I have just aquired a diesel 2.2 TDI Vectra.
Fantastic race by Hamilton! Didn't see much of the race, but read all about it this morning. Seems like Alonso had only two chances to get passed and failed at both attempts.
Two evenly matched cars fighting, Alonso might have in the back of his mind his excursions of track in the last two races trying to pass Hamilton
Hamilton had the racing line and kept his nerve

I never heard of an Audi Vectra ... biggrin devilish

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

From the free practice, it looks as if Ferrari might have got their act together at last so the French race on Sunday could be much more interesting.

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

The 2007 race will mark the last French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours, as the French Grand Prix has been indefinitely suspended from the Formula One calendar.
Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed that they will not return to Magny-Cours in 2008 and that he'll look for an alternative, possibly in Paris

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

Awww that is sad. No more Magny-Cours.

What options do they have JP? Anything look promising?

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

Let's hope we don't just swap Schumacher for Hamilton in the who won yesterdays race discussions.

Let's hope it doesn't become as boring as before

That said

Go Lewis Go biggrin

I hope Alsonso's fighting spirit hasn't been broken by the young whippersnapper

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

Massa pips it from Hamilton for pole

Raikenen could be heavy with fuel though

Engine problems for Alonso - he's not having the best of times p10 possibly 20 with an engine change

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

As I said, Ferrari seem to have got its act together at last.

Maybe tomorrow we will have a real race going on with the two young bucks fighting it out until the line.

Sadly, I shall be out so won't see it on the box.
