Soon? There are months (approximately) left on our current projects.

The next project out of the pipeline will be another cancer project. Expect it soon. There will also be the next phase of HCMD - for UD and BOINC: the real crunching, not just the pilot project that was phase 1.

There are other projects, too - but I don't think I'm allowed to tell you too much about those. Currently there are 2 projects being boarded and 6 in review.

smile Thank you for the peek into the future. It seems like the Aids project has lasted for a century. I know it is important stuff; it really puts a double load on my 2.8 HT Pentium. Will welcome more challenges to medical science. biggrin

Cancer really hits the mark with me.
Having lost my Mother & Grandmother to it, and having had it myself.
That was my main reason to quit looking for ET and start another project.
The life I save may be my own! d oh

I expect that most gridorgers will alter their profiles to "Cancer-only" when it comes available... (I know I will)

Re: What will be the next GRID project(s)?

Well I will not. I find the other projects just as important so I leave it up to Boinc what it wants to crunch. Including the cancer project when it's available of course.

HPF2 and Genome Comparison will both have research results which will benefit future cancer research (i.e. finding new cancer genes/proteins).
