Re: Putting a Picture for a Team

Hi Dave
I disagree
We the TEAM CAPTAINS "might" deserve some respect.
The issue would not have come up if it had not been for US.
Please represent US. Who Else will but a Capt. ????

Re: Putting a Picture for a Team

Sorry you lost your picture, UNITED WE STAND.

After reading your post I stewed angry until I got up out of bed and posted a rip of anyone who would find the flag of my country inappropriate, which I deleted this morning. blushing
On further consideration I realized file size and/or file type had to come into play.
I am not going to wish that others loose their logo because I can't have one, but I can't help but be envious.

sad Re: Putting a Picture for a Team

Personally, I'm a little unhappy at not being able to diplay a team logo.
I feel that a logo helps a team create a sense of identity and, therefor
encourages team spirit and comradeship.

It's a great pity that the inconsiderate few had to be allowed to dictate
the way that things things are done by the majority. Is it not normal
practice to do things the other way round in a democratic society?

Well, there are a total of 13 replies to this topic and I have to add one to make up to a luckier number. As to the topic, beware ye'all recognition seekers! It'll clutter this site with all sorts of visual sights. But y not anyways, we been all raised up to wave little banners and flags and hope from our tech guys to satisfy us, "customers", eh?

thinking To Correct Myself..

Hi critter,
but I can't help but be envious.

That would be me. But I can feel the issue will be handled
quickly in the time frame of the WCG. Years and Years.
I think 'Priorities at the time' meant that 'absolute control of the logos was necessary'
in a framework that left no time for individual attention to them.
Alas over-reaction -VS- under-reaction is/was the correct choice.

Re: Putting a Picture for a Team

I feel the suggestion that team captains and/or members produce thier own Team website was excellent. This has been done on a number of other DC projects I have been asscotiated with and seems to be the best compromise.
