I installed the Boinc client as a service on a Vista machine that has different members of my family logon.
The problem im having is that it does not seem to know when the system is and isnt in use. I have set the profile on here to not crunch when there is someone using the computer. |

How did you set your preferences? There is a bug in BOINC relating to this, so I need to know before I can give any advice.

Its set to wait for 5 min of idle time. It is set to run only aids@home project.

Its also set not to do work while on batteries, prodject weight 100 app switch time is 120min.
