A relentless Alonso - superb. That race must set some records, full on racing from end to end.

Will probably be turning the PC off often, because we're having thunderstorms as of late. All our utilities are underground here, and everything is hooked up to a surge protector, but still don't trust that. May God bless all of you. littlepeaks You might look at getting a An uninterruptible power supply (UPS), uninterruptible power source or sometimes called a battery backup is a device which maintains a continuous supply of electric power to connected equipment by supplying power from a separate source when utility power is not available. A UPS is inserted between the source of power (typically commercial utility power) and the load it is protecting. When a power failure or abnormality occurs, the UPS will effectively switch from utility power to its own power source almost instantaneously. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uninterruptible_power_supply I agree with Larry. I'm in Colorado too, littlepeaks, and leave my computer on and plugged in 24/7. I have an APC UPS that I got at Sam's Club a while ago.. |

Hi kennycjr
----------------------------------------Just switch to BOINC and have done with it It includes the UDMon Feature as standard. Queues them up really nicely ready to crunch + you can crunch on Batteries if you are using a laptop, if you choose to + it supports Multi CPU Multi Core crunching. I'm typing this on Em's MacBook and I have 2 Work Unit's crunching away - at the same time with just one power brick Which reminds me BOINC also supports Intel Mac's and X86 Linux Distributions such as Ubuntu.I understand how you miss that blue pill in your systray (I know I did) but now skip the Greeny Blue Griddy V and go straight for the gold B on a UD like Blue Pill. The screen savers not up to the UD Standard but hey that just wastes CPU Cycles that could be contributing to finding and researching cures and treatments Just a thought Dave ![]() |

I Checked out P Tracy on Wikipedia
----------------------------------------He seems to have had his fair share of run ins a bit like Mr Schumacher. (Damon Hill - Adelaide) Still a great driver. I was alway intrigued how he managed to wear the specs with the rock solid suspension at 200Mph ![]() |

I Checked out P Tracy on Wikipedia He seems to have had his fair share of run ins a bit like Mr Schumacher. (Damon Hill - Adelaide) Still a great driver. I was alway intrigued how he managed to wear the specs with the rock solid suspension at 200Mph Just think of Eddie Irvine in F1...couldn't stand even hearing his name! Paul Tracy..same thing. They acted like spoiled brats. Didn't care what they did, as long as they 'got even' or just didn't care about the consequences of their little tirades. It's sad when talanted people like that have this darkness that surfaces at other people's expense. That's what I didn't like. If they just pushed the envelope too hard, and an accidental occurance happened, well that's racing. But, when one intentionally mean-spiritedly and spitefully ruins a good thing, then it is wrong. Thing is it really ultimately harms yourself acting like that. Yes, I remember Aryton Senna when he got mad at another driver, maybe Alain Prost, and punched him. That is high emotion, not mean-spirit. Big difference. But, that's in the past now. Maybe things have changed inside him, and he is matured a bit. That would be great! He does have talent. My favorite Indy car driver was AJ Foyt. I grew up wanting to be just like him LOL DG ![]() |
