Re: Quote of the Day

Don’t worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you’ll have to ram them down people’s throats.

Re: Quote of the Day

I was a dog in a past life.
Really.
I'll be walking down the street and dogs will do a sort of double take.
Like, Hey, I know him.

We must be silent before we can listen. We must listen before we can learn. We must learn before we can prepare. We must prepare before we can serve. We must serve before we can lead. -- William Arthur Ward

You've got to know your limitations.
I don't know what your limitations are.
I found out what mine were when I was twelve.
I found out that there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way.

Re: Quote of the Day

I really do believe I was put on the planet to help people have creative confidence. I don't have 27 agendas. I'm not the sustainability guy, or the developing-world guy. My contribution is to teach as many people as I can to use both sides of their brain, so that for every problem, every decision in their lives, they consider creative as well as analytical solutions. -- David Kelley, founder of IDEO

Re: Quote of the Day

It is no longer enough to be smart -- all the technological tools in the world add meaning and value only if they enhance our core values, the deepest part of our heart. Acquiring knowledge is no guarantee of practical, useful application. Wisdom implies a mature integration of appropriate knowledge, a seasoned ability to filter the inessential from the essential. -- Doc Childre and Bruce Crye

Monterey, I remember, but I seem to remember the Fillmore West, that we played the week before Monterey.
That was much more memorable for me.
The first time in San Francisco.
They were good gigs.
