This is a word game with up to a hundred words displayed at a time, each slightly different from the previous one. To prevent the game forcing the column becoming wider than the software can handle, each word is separated from its neighbour by a space, then another symbol, as follows:

# one letter altered
- one letter removed
+ one letter added
@ anagram, and if all else fails
= synonym - but only if no member has posted in the thread for 12 hours.
Do not answer your own post within 12 hours. Give someone else a chance! After 12 hours you should answer, just to prove that you are not holding up the game by entering something unanswerable.
Do not repeat a previous entry, unless you think the immediate past answer is unanswerable, in which case you can reverse it by re-entering the last answer but one. However if the next player can find a legal answer, s/he may ignore this and carry on from before it.
