Also a refugee from grid.org, I installed the UD agent last week on one computer, and this week on a second computer. I signed in with my member name as part of the installation process on the second computer, but I'm not seeing it in the device list, and the stats are clearly for only the first computer. What do I need to do to get the second computer displayed in the device list, and counting its stats?

There are 2 common problems.
----------------------------------------(1) When setting up the second computer, you forgot to tell the registration screen that you were already a member. The second computer could have generated another membername. (2) When displaying the device list, tell it that you want to see all devices ever registered and all devices ever returning anything. If you just started last week, that should not yet be a problem.

....
----------------------------------------3. The device will only become visible, if properly registered, after the next Statistics run upon returning the first result with that device.

Sorry, you can't currently remove devices - they need to remain in the database because they are linked to the work you did using them.
However, the device manager page hides devices that haven't returned a result recently, so in a few weeks it will only show your three computers. |
