Copy this (the whole line) into your sig and delete the two @ and leave no space:

[@img]http://www.virtuallandmedia.com/flags2-2/us/US1.GIF[/img@]

That way the image tags [img] will work and the flag will show up in your sig.
Assuming that you are from the states, if not you have to replace the link to the flag with the apprioate one.
