The day looked promising when it began, but since lunch it has done nothing but rain-so I am moving upstairs again-which is difficult, as I live in a bungalow

Then drying out when we got back  The garden needs attention,but all its getting at the moment is close observation from the Kitchen window. So dashed dull and depresing need lights on sort of day when it would be nice to have an open fire with logs blazing to sit beside,its not cold just some thing nice and cheering to sit and look at. |

 Good evening one and all; I survived the journey to Kent this AM traffic was suprisingly light, everyone must have stayed in bed. More of the wet stuff all day this neck of the woods, I've started to get soft fluffy down on my chest and back, (the duck type that is,  not the dumb-blonde type) the latter I can only dream about!, mixed with the black hairs already there I'm begining to take on the look of a Turkey's neck. A plea for help!!, Could one of you explain how to insert a picture/photo onto the post? be most grateful. Evening all
Have a good time Etienne, last time I was there was five days before the wall came down. Sunny here at the moment but we had to wait for most of the day for the clouds to clear. Wild Alaskan salmon for dinner tonight, which makes me think does anyone else still keep up the fish on Friday routine. It's never been a faith thing with me and now it's just practical. We do the main shop on a Friday to avoid the weekend and it seems sensible to eat the fish bought a soon as possible. Look forward to seeing you back here very soon Merle. |
