Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

So easy as that , that will be the day , wink

John send me an e-mail with the min requirements which I have , but is not easy.. , why doesn´t anybody point to the Vista thread in Boing

I still can´t sort anything out, problems and more problems with electricity here devilish devilish

Sorry to hear about your electricity problems. I can only wonder how you keep posting to these boards without electricity devilish confused biggrin

Vista is not only a problem for Boinc, but for a lot of other software also. That is why I haven't bought it yet. I'm even considering never buying Vista at all. At the moment I'm looking at an Apple Mac biggrin But that doesn't answer the boinc question ...

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

As I remember with UD Monitor you could make a cache of whatever size you wanted by registering different names even though they came on the same computer. That's why Grid Org always had be listed as having seven machines although I have only ever had the one.

I used it all the time when I was on dial up and found it very satisfactory. When I moved to Broadband I discarded the cache but kept it running for the time counter which let you know how long since the last save so I would try to reboot as it changed to zero.

I must have been keen in those days!

Fingers crossed Merle. Nice to see that Henman got through after a very high class match.

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Evening all

Stated off bright enough even if it was a bit cool but we've had more heavy showers in the last couple of hours.

It looks as if Merle got half a day in with Federer two sets up before rain stopped play.

I'm off for a group country walk tomorrow so am keeping my own fingers crossed.
