If you try to install the windows latest agent (not boinc) it requests the WCG Agent disk - thus impossible to install.
I've tried it a couple of times now and it does the same each time. |

As I recall, you get that error if you try and install with insufficient privileges, or if a permissions issue prevents the setup program from unpacking properly.
The UD agent hasn't been modified in months. |

Odd I work as a sysadmin and was trying it out on a workstation using the domain administrator account. I've just tried it again, using the same installer and it works fine.
