Hi-
While trying to run the installation program, I get the following error: "Error 1325: my.name is not a valid short file name." I'm running Windows XP Pro. Thanks! |

Where are you trying to install to? You may have problems trying to install to a keydrive or network share.

I don't even get to the point where it asks me where I want to install to... the error appears about 10 seconds after I double-click the install icon.

Sounds odd. Where did you save the installer?
The installer doesn't seem to contain a file called my.name, so I'm a little lost. |

Try BOINC for Windows. It's much better. It's at the bottom of the download list.
