Save my progress, I am aware this is probably the 1000th time, sorry!

I just downloaded the WCG Agent yesterday and I really like the idea of contributing to important research by just giving my unused cpu power. Unfortunately the progress made doesn't seem to be saved. I read some threads but all I could understand was that it should be saved once in a while, which doesn'T seem to be the case on my machine. Do I need any further software or what could the reason be?
I really want to help, but I don't want to leave my computer running non stop because the projects wont finish in one days time.

Thanks for helping!

Okay, looks like a question is missing: Did the points shown in the UD agent Main page increment after the first job was finished non-stop?

The website on first arrival takes sometimes 24-48 hours to synchronize a new member into the 'My Grid' statistics. The agent always shows the latest point tally to which the member statistics catch up every 12 hours.

The 'Work in Progress' saving is done on a regular basis. When approximately is explained in the Start Here forum in thisthread: "Project Checkpoint Saving - How to Minimize Progress Loss on Close/Restart". Your machine really does too and most of the time it's not even noticed.

1001. Your computer is not running far enough to get past the first checkpoint before you shut it down.

1002. Why not let it run all night as these computers do?
