website status

I've had the agent running for 12 days and it shows that I have well over 9000 points, but when I log into the website, it shows nothing has been returned to the server. Is there something I need to change on my computer?

My first thought is that you are probably registered under 2 different names. Which client are you using, BOINC or UD?

I let it install the default for windows, so according to other posts it looks like I'm running UD. If I click on the "view your scores" button to launch my browser, it logs me in as vitae3, so that should be the only name registered. (and as far as I know I only created 1 name.)

My Grid - Device Manager - Device Statistics should show the last time a result was returned, total run time, points generated and number of results returned.

Does it show 0 points?

vitae3 doesn't show any registered devices. The techs will be able to tell us which member the device ID belongs to.

The device ID you have shown is not registered to the member name "vitae3". When you open up the agent, you should see a field in the top right that says "Name:". That is the member name you have registered the agent with. You can try logging into the website with that name. If you have lost your password for that member name you can request it through the Forgot Password tool.

Something strange, because clicking on 'view my scores' brings up / should bring up the 'my grid' page for the member to which the device is registered (it certainly does on mine).

Vitea3 says he's getting a zero score page. A polluted cookie cache maybe with someone like the other member that used one browser to do the browsing, but had IE still as the default browser?

I had this identical problem. I registered as kiwihotaru, downloaded and installed, and then after 9000 points (and 0 registered on the site when I clicked View My Scores) I checked here to figure out what went wrong.... how frustrating!
