Agent will not start

The agent no longer runs when I reboot system. I attempted to start manually, but I'm getting message "searching for UD.exe". What do I need to do?

Hello Se Parle,
My suggestion is to reboot, then uninstall the World Community Grid ( Start - Serrings - Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs ) then go to http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ and reinstall either the UD client or the BOINC client for WCG. Be sure to check the 'Previous Member' box during installation.

Tha'ts the problem, it occurred when I updated to AV 2007 and all the new updates were downloaded. I do remember a Trojan file being deleted, but didn't know what it was.

What do I do now and has the problem been resolved with AV software?

Yes, read the thread. Upgrade the definitions to latest (June 20 or later) than get UD.exe out of quarantine back into the c:\program files\world community grid\ directory. Than start up the agent.
