Hi, I've summitted a few results now but no points yet - I can't understand why, could my PC not be working properly?

Hi, I've summitted a few results now but no points yet - I can't understand why, could my PC not be working properly? Your PCs is working just fine FC. If you run BOINC, it takes a while for work units to be validated, then you get the points for them. If you run the normal WCG agent, your points won't show until the first stats update after you return the work units. You're showing in the team page now, and your current stats are.... Name Father Christmas Joined 03/12/2007 CPU time 0:000:12:30:34 Points 754 Wu's returned 6 We apologise for having doubted your sincerity but, as you'll have read, we had good cause to do so at that time. It's really rather nice to have Father Chistmas on the team, most of them around our way only work once a year. Thanks both of you - just sorry I made an ass of myself at the begining - am I able to change my name do you know, or do I have to register again?
Yes I am using 'boinc', but I only have the one PC so I'm afraid my contribution won't be that great - still I could always borrow some of the PC's I'm getting ready as presents for Christmas I suppose  |

FC, so long as our members are returning results, that's all that matters. It's not a matter of who scores the most points, it's the results being returned that do the most good.

Here's how we stand at the end of our first week. On our heads, mostly.
 Current Members 3 Retired Members 0 All-Time Members 3 Total Run Time 0:032:09:08:31 Points Generated 33,488 Results Returned 137 Small beer to some teams, pretty good for a three man outfit though. I might well be leading on points, but Father Christmas is really hammering home the work units at his end, and Britanicus is holding his own with regular contributions. A very productive 7 days guys.All for one, one for all. Sorry, that's the other three fellas. |

Hi guys - my computer is only low spec so I can't do the bigger units, so thats why I'm getting small points but many results.
