Today we are pleased to announce that World Community Grid has been enabled for the Japanese language. We welcome all of our members from Japan and hope that they take full advantage of this language opportunity. When you go to World Community Grid from Japan, you should be able to view the site in Japanese. If not, then go to the upper navigation bar and use the language drop-down to select the Japanese version. As with other languages, we only translate the static text. Dynamic text such as FAQs and Forums are not translated. We hope that you enjoy the Japanese language version of the website.

If you are having trouble viewing the website in Japanese, please check that the appropriate language packs and fonts are installed on you computer. In Windows XP, for example, you'd go to the Control Panel's Region and Language Options, select the Languages tab, and then check the box to Install files for East Asian languages.
