bash: ./boinc: No such file or directory

Hi!

I am trying to install BOINC and connect it to www.worldcommunitygrid.org using ubuntu linux and terminal and after I try this-

mike@stupidwd:~/BOINC$ ./boinc -attach_project www.worldcomminitygrid.org 00000MYPASSWORDHERE00000

it gives me this-

bash: ./boinc: No such file or directory

Any ideas? The file is installed in my home directory in a folder named BOINC.

Thanks,
Mike

Re: bash: ./boinc: No such file or directory

The easiest way to use BOINC on Ubuntu is to install it using the apt packages.

apt-get update
apt-get install boinc-client boinc-manager

Then use BOINC Manager to attach to WCG.
