Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not familiar with that error message. What version of BOINC are you using?

I thought this was a server issue. I seem to remember seeing it or something similar when SETI is having problems with disks unmounting randomly.

I am using BOINC ver. 5.4.9. I thought server issue, but my other 2 dual core Opterons are having no problem. I thought about uninstall, clean registry and reinstall to see if this fixed the problem, but I'm not sure it will.

Try working thru the Issue Reporting form in link below and provide the information like a piece of the log before and after the error. 5.4.9 was replaced by a fix release 5.4.11 and now the recommended release is 5.8.15.
