Hi ,
I would want to have a feature that via this site i could cancel work for a machine that is not there anymore. The work normally hangs around and is waiting for the end time trigger. Al the machines that are gone replaced by others or renamed in the network should be removed from the list if possible by the owner of the system . Al lot of mess would be gone from non existing computers etc.... Greetings Hans |

Hans, can you post a screenshot of what u are seeing as i do not understand the part about the work hanging around.
----------------------------------------A picture is posted by storing at imageshack or photobucket and is coded as [IMG]sample.schreenshot.jpg[/IMG] Replace the case IMG to small img for it to work. The removing and merging of dead devices due e.g. new ones resulting from Agent re-installs on the same computer is on the to-do list.

Hi,
You gave the answer already. I have replaced computers and did go to new boinc versions. And i see than that the dead machines and the not ready work from machines those is an item for you. I just wait and see when it will be better.... ps btw UD.exe under wine is no option also, there is work given to the UD agent that will not be processed. UD creates after download a new agent process within wine and can't therefore not find the work. both UD's then are doing nothing. |
