Numerous Computation Errors
UPDATE:

I checked my Results Status page and I have lots of computation errors. I left my machine overnight and I did not notice this until now. These units are terminating prematurely, 0.11 hours per work unit. I've got five work units with computation errors in my Results Page, sad. All of these units are za285 hpf2 units. I've checked the results of the other machines crunching these units and my machine is the only one having computation errors.

We do not remember, nor have access to the 260+ thousand member's configurations, thus would you please fill in the 'Problem Reporting ' questionnaire.

If all fail 0.11 hours (6-7 minutes) into the job it could be system constraint. The immediate test is, if you have a project mix in the task buffer, to suspend all hpf2 and let an other project of WCG run like FAAH with similar system requirements.

Have u looked in the detail log on the result status page (click on the hyperlink of 'error' or 'invalid') and can you post it here?

Question on OCing not answered? Heat problems?

Suggest to start suspending the HPF2 from the one above the FAAH and up, so FAAH gets forced to run. If it goes thru and into PV, the finger pointing will be stronger at ZA285, but will notify the technicians anyway.

PS: Got the same version of AV, lib updated not hours ago, so that rules 1 item out, though must admit not having had HPF2 since Saturday night. All the other projects on BOINC and UD crunch perfect. XP64Pro looks like the odd one out.... does the AV behave wonky on that platform? Try running with it switched off, internet unplugged.

I'm sorry about that, my CPU is not overclocked and I don't have any problems with the heat that it generates while crunching. It's got adequate cooling and ventilation. Just after the last unit with computation error terminated prematurely, my machine started crunching a FAAH unit:

After that, all the HPF2 units crunched with no problems.

Avast seemed pretty stable on WinXP Pro x64, smile, well at least it's the only free AV I've found that'll run on 64-bit OS.
