Hello everyone,
----------------------------------------Currently all of my WU are coming up Computation error. Then new units are downloaded, and as soon as they are done downloading, they come up Computation Error. This is happening for ALL projects, including World Community Grid. The Error message is--6_Diad3Ge22.L.deform_331x_0_0 for task 6_Diad3Ge22.L.deform_331x_0 absent 2/19/2007 5:43:28 PM|World Community Grid|[error] Process creation failed: Access is denied. Please advise me what to do now. I have suspended World Community grid for now. I knew i should of stuck with UD!   |

----------------------------------------there is really so little information, that it's very difficult for us to give a recommendation but to assume the install or environment is corrupt or permissions are absent. Please provide from the below checklist: 1) 2) Device / Computer ID... a 5 or 6 digit number found in "V" screen or message log. 3) Mode it is run in, Client, Service, Screensaver. 4) Operating System and version 5) Update level like SP2 6) Antivirus program and version 7) Software Firewall and version 8) Spam filter if any and version 10) CPU brand, type, speed. 11) Ram Size. 11) Video card and status of drivers (are they up to date?). 13) Networking Setup: Router? NAT? 14) ISP 15) Are you using a Proxy? What type (SOCK, HTTP)? 16) What type of Authentication does it use? 17) What job version (shows in the Task Tab Application column like HPF2 5.12) 18) Cuts and past of the quorum detail for the problem work unit(s). 19) Relevant portions of messages / error logs. 20) 21) Any Other You Feel Relevant For BOiNC, look is the message log file "stdoutdae.txt" (in the BOINC program dir) for anything that is related to the invalid Work Unit error like memory alerts...disk or ram and copy past into your post. With BOINC you can at least double the work on a dual core :D

I repaired using the BOINC installer, and now it seems like everything is working. I'll start bringing all the projects back online one at a time however...
