I never can understand why web designers won't allow shift chr's in the passwd fields.
Can someone explain the thinking behind that? |

What do you mean by shift chr's? You can hold down the shift key and enter a letter and it will be case sensitive.

I never can understand why web designers won't allow shift chr's in the passwd fields. Confirming what nelsoc said, my password is upper/lower case, numeric, etc. Now if you're referring to "alternative" characters, such as ALT-### on a PC, then maybe they are not allowed, but shifted characters (i.e. A vs a, S vs s) are definitely allowed. I have run into some sites that don't allow the password complexity that I've come to expect for security (punctuation, uppercase, special characters). WCG doesn't appear to be one of those. |
